Naples Restaurant in Downtown Disney (Anaheim, California)

Get things started with their house made bread focaccia, arrabbiata dipping sauce for $7. There are many entrees to choose from, but a few of my favorites are their very simple but scrumptious macaroni and cheese. Feeling like something different, try the Panzerotti which is a fried pizza dough filled with fresh mozzarella, ricotta & Parmesan, marinara sauce coupled with an Italian Passione drink consisting of passion fruit, orange juice, pineapple juice, and pomegranate juice for $8.

The Beet & Pumpkin Burrata Salad consisting of burrata, roasted beet & pumpkin, arugula, toasted pepitas, olive oil, and a balsamic reduction drizzle was okay, a healthy choice, but a bit on the boring side if you ask me. You can never go wrong with their pizza, the crust is amazing, and their large pizza is HUGE! I would recommend trying a traditional Italian strawberry soda for $8 delicious. 5 Stars for Naples!

Disneyland Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe

Thinking it’s time to stop at the park and enjoy desert, swing by the Disneyland Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe at the end of Main Street. Limited seating depending on the time of day, so plan ahead or use your Disney app to place a mobile order – so convenient! Just a few of their good eats are the Crispy Chocolate-dipped Croissant topped with flaked corn cereal and filled with Bavarian cream; Mickey Mouse raspberry filled macaroon; or the Matterhorn coconut treat. Beautifully prepared, leaving you with a smile on your face.

Filippi’s Pizza Grotto

Filippi’s Pizza Grotto in Little Italy

Located at 1747 India Street, San Diego, CA 92101 in Little Italy

In business for 75 years and some of the best Italian cuisine I have ever had. Whether you prefer the meat sauce lasagna or the marinara vegetarian style lasagna, neither will disappoint. Free bread rolls are available if you ask the server. I prefer their garlic bread, which has just the right amount of butter and garlic. The minestrone soup is $8 a bowl, hearty and delicious. Submarine sandwiches are equally good, and you can ask the server to prepare it toasted which I would suggest. Their pizza comes in one size large, with pretty much any topping your taste bud’s desire. Service and food to the table is fast, less than 10 minutes and the restaurant has plenty of seating. Wait times if any, are typically 5 minutes. Entrée pricing is about $20 per person. Parking in Little Italy is next to impossible, but Filippi’s makes it easy with a designated parking lot next to the restaurant monitored and patrolled at no cost to the consumer. Filippi’s is a chain, and my preference is always to make the trip to Little Italy, it’s beautiful, the food and people are fantastic. is plentiful at $8 for 2 hours. I give this restaurant a 4.9 stars approval rating.
